Inspiration comes from everywhere, books, art, travel, people on the street… It is an interior process for me: I think in moving pictures and filter what I need to create visual experiences that transport emotion, excitement, and elegance.

Frankie Batista is well regarded in the LA fashion industry and a very talented creator of fashion imagery for ads, magazines and editorial. I love working with Frankie. We share a creative vision. We long for all our campaigns to have impact, style, and heart.

Originally a draftsman and painter, Frankie discovered a passion for photography upon completion of his studies in art. Batista has photographed for international publications such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, Glamour, GQ, Harpers Bazaar, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Mens Health, L’Officiel, Nylon, Seventeen, and People. Known for a vibrant use of color and contrast, his optimistic and often exotically bright images seem to leap beyond the boundaries of their printed page, galvanizing him a leading reputation within the industry as a key figure working in contemporary fashion and celebrity portraiture. Frankie currently spends his time between Los Angeles, New York, and Miami.

I have known Thomas for over 12 years and am proud to say, he is one of my best friends. I love his engagement and incredible work ethic. Thomas can make something out of nothing — bad lighting conditions, difficult surroundings, in the end it will always look amazing.

CINEMATOGRAPHER

Thomas started his film career in Berlin in 1989. He received his Master of Arts in Cinematography degree in 1996 from the Film School Potsdam/Babelsberg. He moved to Los Angeles in 1996 and since then he has been working as a Camera Operator and DOP, shooting television commercials, infomercials, feature films, shorts and documentaries. He works with HD broadcast, HD Digital Cinema and 35mm ARRI film cameras, shooting primarily in the U.S., Germany, Spain and the Caribbean.

I have worked with KAT of LA since 2014 when we did our first Music Video together. We have been a team ever since. Kat is very versatile as far as looks go. RONALD RIST | EDITOR

Ronald is based in Berlin and edits our projects in Germany or on set. He is a story editor and has a 15 year expertise in AVID editing. I would say that our team is more than anything a family and runs as such, creative differences are ironed out with love and communication. What a great way to work together. Thomas, Ronald and I have made more than 30 campaigns, 3 FASHION FILMS and 2 SHORT FEATURES together.

Ronald is a gifted story editor and knows how to find the best moments in hours and hours of footage. Always ready to create new content with a sure eye and a great senibility what works for the client.

Ronald started his editing career in Los Angeles in 2000. After moving back to Berlin in 2003, he studied Communication in Social and Economic Contexts with a focus on audio-visual communications at the University of Arts Berlin, finishing with a Master degree. He has been editing commercials, music videos and numerous formats on US, UK and German television networks, including National Geographic, Channel 4, ARD, ZDF, Arte, Pro 7, Sat 1, RTL.

FERLY

Ferly is the most amazing and optimistic person I have ever met. She choreographs and dances her heart out on stage with the most well known performers of our time and with the students she teaches. I love working with her and value our friendship.

CHOREOGRAPHER/DANCER

Ferly Prado was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she began dancing at the age of 3 at her mother’s academy, Ballet Elza Prado. Once she moved to the United States to pursue her dream, she studied at the Kirov Academy of Ballet (Washington, D.C.), at the Souther Ballet Theatre under the direction of Fernando Bujones (Orlando, FL), and at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy (Los Angeles, CA). As a professional dancer, her dance credits include: Tina Turner Tour “TINA:LIVE!”, Justin Timberlake’s music video “Suit and Tie”, Billboard Awards and World Tour with Beyoncé, Latin Billboard Awards with Chayanne, Katy Perry in “Rock in Rio”, Mariah Carrey in Las Vegas… to name a few.
